Britannica Online - a great all round general online encyclopedia with links to millions of articles, definitions, facts, etc. (password required off campus).

Its full-text, aggregated content covers every major subject from the world's best publishers of reference. There are over 225 titles consisting of an aggregate of 2.9 million entries all interconnected by over 100,000,000 links.

Journals

Journals provide current ideas and information on a subject.
The catalogue states what volumes/issues we hold. It cannot tell you what articles are inside of each journal. Use a database to find articles - see below.

Avery Index - Architectural Periodicals
Created by the Getty Research Institute, is the only comprehensive American guide to the current literature of architecture and design. This database surveys more than 2,500 US and foreign journals and also provides nearly 13,000 citation records for architects' obituaries. Abstracts only - not full text.

Business Source Premier
The industry's most used business research database, providing full text for more than 8,800 serials, including full text for more than 1,100 peer-reviewed business publications. Full text coverage in all disciplines of business, including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance & economics. Updated daily on EBSCO host.

Computer Source
Provides researchers with the latest information and current trends in high technology. This database offers full text for nearly 300 publications and indexing and abstracts for nearly 450 publications.

American Economic Association's electronic database, the world's foremost source of references to economic literature. Contains more than 785,000 records from 1969-present. Covers virtually every area related to economics.

ERIC
World's largest source of education information, with more than 1 million abstracts of documents and journal articles on education research and practice.

GreenFILE
Offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 384,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,700 records.

Health Business Fulltext Elite
Provides full text for 420 periodicals detailing all aspects of health care administration and other non-clinical aspects of health care institution management.

Health Source: Consumer Edition
Search for information on many health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine and general health.

Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
Provides nearly 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Also features abstracts and indexing for nearly 850 journals. Updated on a daily basis.

Hospitality & Tourism Index
Provides citations and abstracts for articles from over 500 journals covering the hospitality & tourism industry. Abstracts only - not full text

Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts
(LISTA) indexes more than 690 periodicals, plus books, research reports and proceedings. Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s. Abstracts only - not full text

MAS Ultra - School Edition

Provided by the Sport Information Resource Centre, SPORTDiscus offers comprehensive, bibliographic coverage of sport, fitness and related disciplines. This database contains well over 1,392,000 records with journal and monograph coverage going back to 1800; over 20,000 dissertations and theses and reference to articles in 60 different languages. The Serials Directory
Provides access to the most up-to-date and accurate bibliographic information as well as current pricing structures for popular serials. This invaluable resource is made available via EBSCOhost®.
